Artist Biography For The Vacant Eyes
The Vacant Eyes Are Progressive Metal Band From Prague Czech Republic Founded In 2009 By The Guitarist And Songwriter Martin Bejšovec. The Band Combines An Aggressive Riffing Played On 8 String Guitars With Melodic Post-Rock/metal Layers Mostly With A Strong Melancholic Aspect And Uses Harsh Vocals Both Screams And Growl As Well As Clean Vocals In Their Music. After The Three-Song Instrumental Demo "A Message In The Bottle" Heavily Influenced By Dream Theater Opeth Porcupine Tree Etc. Recorded In 2009 And EP Called "Bright Sky" Which Was A Huge Step Into Math/technical Metal Territory But Didn´t Reflect Nowadays Music Of The Vacant Eyes At All Recorded In 2011 There Were Some Line-Up Changes That Eventually Set The Current Line-Up Of The Band Dima Alivanov - Vocals
