Artist Biography For The Magic Squares
The Magic Squares Were A Short-Lived American Band From A Small Town In The State Of New Hampshire Called "Etna". Interestingly The Town Does Not Technically Exist--You Can Drive Through Hanover Looking All You Want. This Odd Fact Lends This Band Active From Late 2002 Only Through The Summer Of 2003 A Somewhat Legendary Glow. They Specialized In Genteel Psychedelic Folk-Rock With Some More Experimental Tracks These Were Part Of A Musical Protest Project Against The Start Of The Iraq War . The Communally-Minded Band Broke Up When The House They Were Renting Was Sold And The Members Could No Longer Co-Habitate.
