The Hair & Skin Trading Company Are A British Experimental Rock Group Formed In 1991 By Ex-Loop Members Neil Mackay Vocals/bass And John Wills Now Pumajaw Drums . Joined By Ex-Savage Opera Guitarist Nigel Webb They Released Their Debut Album "Jo In Nine G Hell" On Beggar's Banquet In 1992. Their Early Work Mixes Fairly Generic Early-'90s Alternative Rock With Strong Influences From Post-Punk And The Work Of Swiss Industrial Rockers The Young Gods. By Their Third Album 1995's Krautrock-Influenced "Psychedelische Musique" The Hair & Skin Trading Company Had Dispensed With All Conventional Rock Elements For An Extremely Abstract Post-Rock Sound They Released A New Album Their Fourth On The 1st September 2019 Entitled "I Don't Know Where You Get Those Funny Ideas From."
