1 The Chartbusters Were An American Group That Had A Big Hit With The Single "She's The One" In 1964 During The Height Of The British Invasion. The Chartbusters Were Managed By Bobby Poe And Featured Lead Vocalist/lead Guitarist Vernon Sandusky. 2 There Is Also A Jazz Group Named The Chartbusters. Under The Nominal Leadership Of Tenor And Soprano Saxophonist Craig Handy This Group Achieved A Measure Of Distinction Owing To A Small Number Of Well-Conceived And Implemented Albums. The First 1995’s Chartbusters! Volume 1 Was An Engaging Homage To Blue Note Records But Because It Appeared Only On A Small Independent Label Its Qualities Were Heard By Only A Few. The Follow-Up Set Also Paid Tribute To A Record Company Or Rather Its Roster Of Recording Artists This Time It Was Prestige Records Who Also Released The Album.
