Silke Bischoff Was A Darkwave / Gothic / Synth Trio From Germany. The Band's Name Comes Originally From A Hostage Killed In The "Gladbecker Geiseldrama" In 1988. However Felix Flaucher Had Deliberately Chosen The Name As A Tribute To Silke Bischoff Whose Death Would Have Been Avoidable If The Hostage-Taking Had Not Been Characterized By Sensationalist Media Hype And Police Failure. After A Legal Dispute In 2002 With Third Member Axel The Then-Duo Got Renamed As 18 Summers.
