Her Trademark Music Style Is Wassoulou Named After The Remote Region In Southern Mali Where It Originates. Her Aunt Djénéba Diakité Is A Well-Known Performer And She Encouraged Her Niece Inviting Her To Sing Backup Vocals On One Of Her Cassettes.
