Petr Vit Studied Guitar In Brno Prague And Vienna. His Teachers Were Among Others M. Mysliveček Š. Rak K. Raggossnig And R. Aussel. In 1993 He Got A Scholarship From The Spanish Ministery Of Foreign Affairs To Study The Flamenco Guitar And The History Of Flamenco Music In Andalusia. His Innicial Stay In Granada Prolonged For Several Years And Petr Vit Found In Andalusia His Second Home. During The Years 1998-2006 He Was A Professor At The Escuela De Bellas Artes Y Musica In Cartagena –Colombia– And At The Escuela Experimental De Música De Granada. Apart From His Concerts And Teaching Activities Petr Vit Composes Works For Guitar Solo Chamber Music And Music For Theater. He Was A Producer Of The Film Flamenco And Its People Which Has Been Broadcasted By The Czech Television In 2000. His Recitals In Which He Performs On Both The Classical And The Flamenco Guitar Enthuse Audiences In Many European Countries In The United States And In South America. He Has Been Asked Time And Again To Teach Renowed Master Courses And Guitar Festivals. Since 2006 Petr Vit Teaches At Brno Music Conservatory Of Leos Janáček –Czech Republic– And Is Also Artistic Director Of The Festival Of Spanish Music IBERICA And Festival Flamenco Olomouc In The Czech Republic. read less
