Mercurine Is The Duo Of Mera Roberts And Byron Brown Formed In Los Angeles CA In 2000. Mercurine Was Started By Mera Roberts Upon Moving From Her Hometown Of Chicago IL To Los Angeles CA. Byron Brown Answered An Ad Placed By Roberts Seeking A Collaborator And Was A Fast Fit With The Early Songwriting Efforts Of Roberts Who Was Also Collaborating With Fellow Chicagoan Viktor Phoenix. Roberts And Brown Quickly Began Developing The Sound And Concept Of The Band While Phoenix Soon Left The Group To Pursue Film And Game Soundtrack Work.
