Artist Biography For Marcelo Rosselot

A Fan Of The Cure And Depeche Mode Marcelo Rosselot Always Had It Clear Music Was His Thing. But He Didn't Want To Play Guitar Like Martin L. Gore Or Be The Creole Version Of Robert Smith. He Wanted To Be A DJ. And He Succeeded Becoming In Passing The Producer Of His Own Records And The Creator -Together With Francisco Allendes- Of His Own Label Andes Music The First Nationally To Release On Vinyl And Digital And Have Worldwide Distribution. Legend Has It That After Listening To Depeche Mode Live In 1994 Marcelo Rosselot Was Left Unhinged. World In My Eyes And Halo Had Blown His Mind. He Then Began To Expand His Record Collection. He Started With Depeche Mode And The Cure And Then Moved On To Human League Cocteau Twins Talk Talk Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark And Pink Floyd. And What Started As A Hobby Became A Profession. His Tricks Behind The Crossfaders Earned Him A Residency At Club La Feria Where He Hasn't Stopped Burning The Soles Of The Audience With Minimal Techno And House Sessions. His Debut In Music Production Was With "Camaleón" Which Appeared On The Compilation Released For The First Love Parade Organised In Chile 2005 . This Was Followed By The Vinyl - Co-Signed With Ferrante - "Los Andes" 2006 On The German Label Weave Music. The Following Year He Made It Beautiful By Releasing The EP "De Arica A Punta Arenas" With The German Gastspiel Recordings A Record That Contains One Of His Most Moving Tracks "Dónde Estuve Anoche?" Which Recalls The Acid Period Of Aphex Twin And Also Features The Collaboration Of The National Miguel Tutera And The Chilean-Spanish Combo Monomachine Francisco Allendes Iñigo Oruezabal . His Third EP Was The Refreshing "Mote Con Huesillos" 2007 - This Time Through The Dutch Label Sound Architecture - Which Contained A Remix By Alexi Delano. 2008 Was One Of His Most Productive Years Releasing Three Albums "DNO" On Germany's Musique Unique "De Vuelta Al Planeta Tierra" With Allendes On Holland's Wir And "No Sabe No Sabe" Debuting On The National Andes Music. He Is Currently Focused On Andes Music A Label In Which In Addition To Releasing Records - By Monomachine Alejandro Vivanco Ferrante And Himself - He Periodically Organises Parties And Promotional Showcases Accompanied By Francisco Allendes And Felipe Valenzuela.
