"It wasn't really to anyone in particular, I was just creating a story like this was happening," Smith told BBC Radio 1's Clara Amfo. "Literally you walk in and someone will let you know when the light whatever, whether it's green, red, blue, is like shining on that person there," she added. "They've got a little spotlight on them. And that's kind of what I envision."
Photographer Bolade Banjo takes the directorial reins for the music video, which includes a cameo by rapper Headie One.
