Jax Braithwaite Is An Award-Winning Singer Creative Writer Guitarist And Theatrical Practitioner From Chelmsford Essex.
Jax Studied European Theatre At CDS Accredited Rose Bruford College Of Theatre And Performance And Also Under Influential Catalonian Practitioner Joan Baixas At Institut Del Teatre In Barcelona.
Jax Used Her Unique Vocal And Aural Talent To Attain Awards For Her Singing And Perform At Venues Such As The Gardens Of Clarence House And Chelmsford Cathedral Not To Mention London Underground Where Jax Performs Regularly As A Licensed Busker. She Is Recognised By Boards Such As ABRSM And Trinity/Guildhall Having Achieved Up To Grade VIII In Singing.
In 2011 Jax Reached The Semi-Final Of The Youbloom Music Awards And Was Reviewed For Her Song ‘Power Cut’ By A Panel Of Judges Including Bob Geldof And Producer Rupert Hine. More Recently She Has Begun To Collaborate With The Celebrated Polish Jazz Pianist Ursula Szczepanek Under The Name ‘The Umbrella Jewels.’
