Hiam Younes Is A Lebanese Singer And Actress Born January 28 1948 In The Village Of Tannourine Located 75 Km From Beirut. Last Born Of Thirteen Children Spent Her Childhood Devoting Herself To Literature And Poetry. In 1953 She Took Part In The Film "Albi Ala Waladi" Shot By The Director Henry Barakat In The Company Of Many Famous Egyptian Actors. In 1957 He Makes Her Second Film Experience By Participating In The Production Of The Lebanese Film "Ila Ayn" By Director George Nasr A Work That Won Numerous Prizes At The Cannes Film Festival. Later Around The Early 60s She Began To Sing Interpreting Pieces Of Popular Nature And Took Part In Several Television Programs. Many Are The Nicknames With Which She Was Called Among Them "The Miracle Of The 20th Century" Given To Her By The Lebanese President Bechara El Khoury "the Star Of The East" Coined After One Of Her Songs Sold A Million Copies "The Miraculous Child" "The Singer Of Poems" And "the Educated Singer." The Great Composer Mohamed Abdel Wahab Described The Singer By Virtue Of Her Sensitivity As The Owner Of The Most Dangerous Sentiments. Hiam Younes Has Performed In Many Countries Of The Arab World Which Has Led Critics To Call Her "The Arab Art University". She Has Published More Of 500 Songs And Many Artists At The Beginning Of Their Career Have Competed With Her Compositions By Virtue Of This Hiam Younes Has Become A Reference Point For The Arabic Song Between 1967 And 1988 She Lived What She Defined As A Period Of Maturity During Which She Collaborated With Famous Composers Creating Very Special Songs Interpreted Using The Khaliji Dialect The Lebanese Dialect And The Classical Arabic.
