Good Enough by Father Mckenzie

Artist Biography For Father Mckenzie

Father Mckenzie Is A Half-Finnish Half-Swedish Pop Band Formed By Tobias Granbacka Vocals/keyboards Emil Johansson Bass/vocals Simon Larsson Drums/vocals And Jochum Juslin Guitars . The Four Young Men Met A Couple Of Years Ago And Decided To Try And Play Some Of The Songs Singer/keyboardist Tobias Granbacka Had Written. They Found Each Other Socially As Well As Musically And Immediately Started Thinking Out A Name For The Band. After A Few Not Groundbreaking Suggestions They Came Up With The Name Father Mckenzie. It Refers To The Beatles Song Eleanor Rigby – A Pure Pop Song With A Scent Of Melancholy In It. Very Much Like A Lot Of The Music That Father Mckenzie Performs. At The Time Residing In Sweden They Started Playing At Various Stages Across The Country And Gained A Lot Of Credit For Their Performances. One Of Their Best Memories So Far In Their Career Is From A Concert In Stockholm When A Man Started Applauding In The Middle Of Their Songs Apparently To Phrases In Their Lyrics – Something That Rarely Happens But Is Highly Appreciated By A Songwriting Band. One Of Their Best Memories To Come Is Hopefully Participating In The Finnish Preselection Of 2011 Eurovision Song Contest. One Of Their Songs Has Been Elected As One Of 15 Among 277 To Participate In The Open Contest Of The Finnish ESC Preselection.
