Experimenter En Couleur Is Intent On Pushing The Boundaries Of Sound And Image. Taking Influences From Both Art And Science He Produces Compositions Using Colour And Form Analysis Microscopic Organisms And Scientific Data. Experimenter En Couleur Produces Instruments That Create Chance Combinations Of Sounds Over The Time Required To Play Them. This Creates New Sounds And Arrangements And So New Experiences Or Feelings For The Listener. Chance Operations In The Making Of The Instrument And The Way The Instrument Plays Its Pallete Gives A Freeness And Experimental Nature To The Pieces.
Each Instrument Is Grown From Seed And So In Turn Are The Musical Pieces. In This Way The Mood Can Vary As Randomly As The Natural World Whilst Still Retaining The Rhythm Of Life. These Self Made Instruments Utilise Recent Studies In Microsound Developments In Particle Synthesis And Generative Systems To Produce New Sounds And New Combinations Without The Past Associations Of A Typical Musician Who's Playing Of An Instrument Is Affected By What They Have Heard Before. Using Random Generators Experimenter En Couleur Composes Totally New Pieces With Each Performance Intending To Provide With It New Experiences And Feelings For The Listener.
