Au Revoir Borealis Is A Collective Of Musicians From Detroit Michigan Who Write Songs That Are Epic Expansive And Rather Cinematic In Nature. The Group Was Formed In 1998 By A Few Art School Friends As An Opportunity To Experiment And Play With Sound. They Received Much Fanfare With The Release Of Their Highly Regarded Debut Recording "Tienken" In 2000. College Radio Music Press And Online Message Boards Throughout The U.S. And Europe Began Spreading The Word Of Their Soaring Sound And Beautiful Vocals. Since Then They Have Have Attained A Loyal Cult Following Of Listeners. They Have Also Been Fortunate Enough To Hold Good Company By Performing With Artists Such As The Autumns Jessica Bailiff Windy & Carl LN And The Czars To Name A Few.
