Andreas Bourani *November 2 1983 In Augsburg Born Andreas Stiegelmair Is A German Pop Musician And Voice Actor. He Was Born In 1983 In Augsburg Presumably To North African Parents Whom He Never Met. A Few Days After His Birth He Was Placed With A New Family And Took On Their Surname Stiegelmair. He Grew Up In The Bergheim District Of Augsburg With Two Sisters And Was Educated In The Musical Branch Of St. Stephan Gymnasium. His Mother Was A Teacher. In His Childhood He Served As An Altar Boy. He Has Since Renounced The Catholic Church And Identifies With Buddhism. He Completed His Schooling Before Graduating From The 12th Grade. In Addition To High School He Attended The Private Augsburg Music School Downtown Music Institute Where He Also Received Vocal Training. He Lived In Munich For A Time And Moved To Berlin's Prenzlauer Berg District In 2007.
In 2003 He Participated In The ZDF Casting Show "Die Deutsche Stimme 2003" Under His Surname Stiegelmair. To Keep His Parents' Surname Out Of The Public Eye He Reverted To His Birth Name Bourani.
