Nel 2003 I Machine Head Registrarono A Londra Gran Bretagna Il Loro Primo Album Dal Vivo HellaLive E Nell'autunno Dello Stesso Anno Incisero In Europa Through The Ashes Of Empires. All'inizio Del 2004 Il Gruppo Firmò Di Nuovo Per La Roadrunner E Per Essa Rieditò Il Quinto Lavoro In Studio Alla Cui Tracklist Aggiunsero "Seasons Wither". Lanciato Dal Singolo "Imperium" Ed Entrato Al Numero 88 Di Billboard Through The Ashes Of Empires Mostra Meno Elementi Nu Metal E Un Parziale Ritorno Al Suond Groove Metal Che Caratterizzò Gli Esordi Cosa Notevolmente Apprezzata Dai Fan. Nel 2005 I Machine Head Hanno Partecipato Al Festival "Wacken Open Air" A Cui Hanno Assistito Ben 40.000 Fan Del Gruppo. Il 20 Giugno 2007 Hanno Suonato Per La Prima Volta A Roma In Un Festival Metal Allo Stadio Olimpico Al Fianco Di Iron Maiden E Motörhead Lasciato Un Segno Ben Marcato Del Loro Passaggio E Convolgendo Tutto Lo Stadio Con Brani Nuovi E Vecchi. Il 6 Dicembre 2007 La Performance Del Gruppo Durante Una Tappa Della Black Crusade A Milano Viene Interrotta Da Un Malore Accorso Al Chitarrista Phil Demmel Comunque Poco Prima Della Fine Dello Show L'ultima Canzone Prevista Era Davidian .
