Only A Few Years Later I Was Introduced To Dream Theater And That Changed My Whole Look On Music. Around My Senior Year Of Highschool I Decided I Would Take On Guitar And Have Been Playing For 4 Years. Covering Bands From Coheed And Cambria To Avenged Sevenfold. Upon Meeting My Now Good Friend And Fellow Guitarist Extraordinare Alex Wheeler He Introduced Me To Bands Like All That Remains And As I Lay Dying And We Dove Head First Into The Metalcore Scene. But After A Year Of Playing Metalcore I Felt There Was Something More And Wanted To Get Back Into Progressive Metal. Then Was Introduced To Protest The Hero And That Completely Changed Me They Had The Heavy Chugging While Bouncing In And Out Of Different Time Signatures And Changing Keys Whenever Without The Self Indulgent Solos And 4 Minute Ambient Intros.
