In Seguito Allo Scioglimento Di Questo Gruppo Robbie E Jim Fondano Nell'ottobre 1995 I The Get Up Kids A Cui Si Vanno Ad Aggiungere Matthew "Matt" Pryor E Il Batterista Nathan Shay.

Nel 2002 Esce "On A Wire" Album Non Ben Accettato Dalla Critica Seguito Da "The Guilt Show" Che Si Presenta Come Un Ritorno Sulle Vecchie Sonorità Con La Maturita Di "On A Wire". Purtroppo Nel 2005 La Band Fa Un Ultimo Tour E Dice Addio Alla Scena Musicale In California Con Un Ultimo Concerto In Giugno. I Componenti Del Gruppo Tuttavia Non Si Sono Fermati Il Piu Attivo Risulta Il Cantante Matthew Pryor Il Quale Già Dal 1999 Aveva Fondato I The New Amsterdams E Che Diventò Dal 1995 Il Suo Gruppo Principale. Anche Il Chitarrista James Suptic Fonda Un Gruppo Chiamato "Blackpool Lights" E Nel 2006 Fa Uscire Il Primo Disco "This Town's Disaster". La Band Si Riavvicinò Per Celebrare L'imminente Decimo Anniversario Del Loro Album Something To Write Home About Che Rilasciarono Nuovamente.
