Formed In 1999 Tookoo Is One Of The First Emo Bands In China Consisting Of The Twin Brothers Li Xiaochuan Guitar And Li Xiaoquan Bass Yan Shuai Vocals Shiva G. Synth/Organ And Liu Yang Drums . In December 2001 The Band Released Its First Underground Album Viva!Viva!Viva!. After The Interview By SO ROCK Magazine In January 2002 The Band Was Also Invited To Perform In The 2002 MIDI Festival And The Li Jiang Snow Mountain Music Festival Of Beijing In May And July. Later In September TOOKOO Band's Two-Year Anniversary Performance Attracted The Attention Of A Popular Japanese Media The Band Members Accepted Its Interview. Within The Same Year From November To December TOOKOO Band Had The Opportunity To Tour Extensively Throughout China In Cities Such As ChongQing ChengDu XiAn And Beijing. The Members Were Interviewed By Many Local Medias During The Nation-Wide Tour. In April 2003 The Band Worked Together With JOJOCLUB&ADV Company In The Production Of Its First Short Movie TooKoo Video Show 2002-2003. Within The Same Month TOOKOO's New Single "Hardcore Star" Appeared In The CD Of XMUSIC Magazine VOL. 241. Although The Band Received An Invitation To Japan SARS Disease Restricted Its Plan Of Performing In Japan. In The Second Half Of The Year The Band Was Busy With Several Live Performances Around The Country. In August The Band Performed In "Live Vocal 1 Anniversary In Tianjin" Presented By Cui Jian. In September TOOKOO Brought Their Live Performances To XiAn. In October The Band Came Back To Beijing And Performed In The 2003 MIDI Music Festival. In March 2004 The Band Was Interviewed By MUSIC Time Out Beijing Magazine. In April The Band's Newest Single "Ever Go With Me" Was Recorded In The Album Called "Rock N' Roll Beijing Vol. 4/5". TOOKOO Performed In Two Major Music Festivals Held In Beijing In May 2004 They Are "Who Is Singing In Spring" And "Chaoyang Pop Music Festival". In September 2004 TOOKOO Released A Live Album Named Live In Nameless Highland. In December 2004 TOOKOO Band Had An "EMO Revolution Tour Of China" To Many Cities Including Wuhan Changsha Hangzhou Shanghai Chongqing Chengdu And XiAn. In January 2005 Newspaper Published An Article Named "Emo China A New Rock Trend" About Tookoo Along With A Large Sized Photo Of Tookoo’s Live Performance In ChengDu. In July 2005 Rockinchina.Com Held An Interview With The Band. Tookoo Published Its Independent Acoustic EP In The End Of July. In August The Band Visited QingDao For Its Exclusive Show. Tookoo Also Performed During The "Five Country Music Festival" In The Beginning Of October. On The 15th Of October The Band Flied To HongKong To Perform On The Stage Of .
