NÓW Was Formed In Autumn Of 1997. Back Then During The Eleventh New Moon Its Members Swore Loyalty To Slavonic Faith And Dedication To Fight For The Return Of Its Greatness And Glory. The Horn Sounded For The First Time To Gather The Sons Of This Land To Fight With Judeochristian Plague And With Everything Which Insults The Honour Of Our Fatherland. These Were Trivialis - Bass And Vocals Odylena - Synths And Voices Antychryst Pervus - Drums Rogath - Guitar. In The January Of 1998 Echoes Of The Past Glorious Wars Carried The Clash Of Weapons To The First Battle Of NÓW - "Jeszcze Powróci" Concert Played In Toruń.
. Horns Were Blown Flames Burning Announcing The Second Battle For Faith And Soil. White Eagle Led Us Like Our Fathers Long Time Ago To Fight For What Is Lost. It Happened On The 15 December 1998 On The Concert "Pieśń Powrotu". The NÓW Horde Was Supported Then By The Brotherband FORNOSTEM. Also Then The Unnofficial Video Under The Same Title Was Made. In April '99 Rogath Was Dismissed And Mœciwoj Nakon Amroth Took Over The Function Of Guitarist. In May Antychryst Pervus Was Replaced By Wojgniew Denethor. In The February Of 2000 The Band Recorded Their First Demo "Przebudzenie Uśpionej Potęgi" And It Was Released By Majestat Nocy Promotion In Autumn Of The Same Year. After This Amroth And Denethor Must Left The Band. Line - Up Problems Were The Reason Of More Than Year And Half Silence. It Ends In October 2002 When The Old Drummer Pervus Joins NÓW Again. The Funcion Of Guitarist Takes Trivialis. The New Person Is Also Second Guitarist Ceta. The Bases Are Taken By Visthen. In This Line-Up NÓW Is Arranging Material For The LP "Nowia" Which Ment To Be Recorded At The End Of Summer Of 2002. But Due To Huge Problems Inside The Band It Didn't Happened. Pervus And Visthen Left The Band At The End Of June And Horde Has To Wait For The New Drummer To Join. It Took Place In The End Of August 2002 In The Person Of Mordrath. The New Basist Also Joined - Azaelnorth Both From Enhiridion 'horde . In This Line - Up The Horde Once Again Had To Work For The Songs On The Studio Lp. The Recordings Started In December 2002 And Due To Many Personal Problems Last A Year Over. But The Final Results Are More Than Satysfining 60 Minutes Of Ambitious Pagan Metal Which In Fact Means A Hybrid Of Black And Heavy Metal Music With A Touch Of Folk In NÓW's Unique Style! It Surely Is One Of The Best Polish Metal Releases. The Band Released A 2 Track Promo 2003 Containing Material Of The Advance Lp „Nowia". The „Nowia" Lp Should Be Released On Eastside Records Somewhere In 2004 ?! . The Horde However Still Looks For A Good And Honest Label For Future Releases. From The Beginnings Of March 2004 NÓW Is Working With New Material For Second Lp. The Current Line - Up Is Trivialis - Guitars Voices Odylena - Synths Flutes Voices Mordrath - Drums&percussion Harsch Vocals Visthen - Bass. The Aim Of NÓW Is To Awake The True Slavonic Warriors To Fight For Renewal Of Slavia To Spread Paganism By This Personal Way.
