The New Orleans Owls An Obscure Band Recorded 18 Spirited Sides During 1925-1927. Although None Of Its Sidemen Other Than Nappy Lamare And Eddie Miller Became Famous The Spirited Ensemble Effectively Bridged The Gap Between The New Orleans Rhythm Kings And Late-'20s Dance Bands. They Were One Of Only A Handful Of Bands That Were Recorded In The City Of New Orleans In The 1920s.
