Keelhaul Is A Four Piece Progressive Stoner/sludge Metal Band From Cleveland Ohio Formed In 1997. The Members Are Aaron Dallison Bass And Vocals Dana Embrose Guitar Will Scharf Drums And Chris Smith Guitar And Vocals . The Band's Toured Europe In April 2004 And Subsequently Went On A Lengthly Break. With No Tours Or New Music Recorded Keelhaul Entered The Studio In December 2008 With Producer Andrew Schneider To Record Their New Album Keelhaul's Triumphant Return To Obscurity. In The Same Month The Band Resumed Live Activity With Two Shows One In Philadelphia And The Other In New York. In 2009 They Played Support To Isis For The Wavering Radiant Tour Which Took In Dates Across Europe Filling The Bill With Legendary Finnish Band Circle. Aaron Dallison Is One Of The Ex-Guitarists/vocalists For Escalation Anger. He Also Played Guitar In A Cleveland Hardcore Band Called Ringworm In 2004. He Currently Also Plays Guitar In 2 Other Cleveland Area Bands Named Abdullah And State Of Conviction.
Chris Smith Used To Play Guitar In Cleveland Hardcore Band Intergrity In The Mid 1990's And He Currently Also Plays Guitar In A Band Called Terminal Lovers Which Also Features Jamie Walters Boulder Sweet Roxx Ex-Abdullah Midnight US Destructor . Dana Embrose Used To Play Guitar In A Boston Based Band Called La Gritona In The Mid 1990's. Will Scharf Was The Drummer For Cleveland Area Band Craw In The 1990's. They Are Featured On The Melvins Tribute Playing The Song "Oven" In Collaboration With High On Fire.
