K V As He Is Known Has Performed In Concerts Along Side The Likes Of Hugh Masikala Third World Tiger Papa San Machel Montano David Rudder Denyse Plummer Lord Kitchener And The Mighty Sparrow To Mention A Few. Though He Is Know For His Singing He Is Also Respected As A Drummer And Percussionist In The Arena.
This Sagitarian Born Has A Dynamic Way Of Performing That Touches People Where Ever He Goes. His Energetic Performance Earned Him The Names . There Seems To Be A Never Ending Turn To His Capabilities. His Ability To Adapt To Most Genre Of Music Allows Him Stand Out From The Rest Hence The Reason He’s Considered An Entertainer And Not A Calypsonian /Soca Artiste.
K V Charles Have Been Recording Since 1988 When He Did His First Release With The Band Kalyan From There He Went On To Record Soca Songs With The Numerous Organizations He Had Been A Part Of.
To Date Two Of His Biggest Hits Are Byron Lee And The Dragonaires And With Atlantik.
Though He Is Well Know As A Recording Artiste K V Charles Has A Unique Way Of Performing Live Cover Versions Of Many Hit Songs Such As Third World Square One Lord Nelson To Name A Few.
His Career He Has Taken Him Far And Wide Locally He Has Performed In Most Of The Entertainment Places Stemming East West North And South Of His Homeland Trinidad And Tobago. Regionally He Has Excited Audiences From Jamaica St Kitts St Lucia St Maarten Barbados Grenada And Guyana. Internationally He Left His Mark As A Phenomenal Entertainer In The USA . Having Gathered This Wealth Of Knowledge And Experience K V Charles Has Now Embarked On Further Educating Himself And Others Through Teaching The Skills Which He Has Acquired Through The Years That He Is Now Able To Richly Pass On To The Young And Upcoming Artiste That He Encounter On Life’s Road Until He Is Able To Set Up An Establishment Where He Can Have Student On A Fix And More Stable Conditions.
After Being In The Entertainment Scene For The 28 Years Charles Within The Passed 8 Years Have Found It Most Fitting To Give Back To Society By Being The Musical Director Of A Young Group Students From Trinity All Generation Steel Who Were Very Interested In Forming A Conventional Band.
K V Charles Has Also Made A Significant And Meaningful Contribution To The Edification And Upliftment Of The Youth Of The Youth Of Which He Belong . He Has Shared His Expertise With The Establishment Of A New Band Vizion Of Which He Has Been Their Musical Director And Mentor For Over Five Years.
K V Made A Personal Promise To These Young People That Within Five Years With Their Commitment He Would Put Things In Place So That They Could Achieve Their Goals Of Being The Youngest Professional Band Coming Out OfTrinidad And Tobago And Leaving An Opening For Continued Training For Young Upcoming Musician Which He Did.
