Born Francisco Sanchez In NY In 1982 Don_Cerati Grew Up In A Little Town In The Dominican Republic Called Cotui. A Town He Hasn't Visit In 5 Long Years But A Town That's Always In His Mind! The Name Don_Cerati Is Kind Of A Tribute To Gustavo Cerati One Of His Biggest Inspiration In Music. Even Though It's Not Really The Same Music Gustavo Cerati Does On A Full-Time Basis Is In His Music That Don_Cerati Saw The Path He Wanted To Follow! He Always Loved Music But Never Put Interest In Making It Until He Started Listening To KoRn...But It Really Took Off In December '05 After A Years Of Listening To Cerati's Bocanada Siempre Es Hoy And Bien And Later Catching The Video Of Massive Attack's Teardrop! As He Recalls "that Video Really Got Me. Not Really The Image But The Beats Liz Voice The Melody...I Was Hypnotized!" Then In 2005 He Borrowed A PowerBook G4 For A Week And Created Something Cool Using GarageBand..."that's When I Decided That THAT'S WHAT I WANTED TO DO!" He Said! He's Extremely Ecleptic When It Comes To Life And Music...As You Can See In His Influences! MUSIC Is Life. Music Is Passion. Music Is Everything. One Thing Is That He Has Been Kind Of Lazy To Fully Learn A Particular Instrument! But He Plays Bits And Pieces Of A Lot Of Instruments Like Trumpet Drum Machine Guitar Bass Synth Percussion...But The Computer Is His Main Instrument. He Uses Ableton Live Almost All The Time. He's Really A Rare Specimen On Earth....But In The End What Matters Is His Sincere Passion To Do What He Loves! And That Love For Music Had Led Him To Some Strange World That He'll Love Until The Day He Dies! Well He's Just Don_Cerati Being Don_Cerati...Francisco Being Francisco! Two Names One Personality!. A Couple Of Months Ago He Made An Unoficial Remix Of Gustavo Cerati's "Amo Dejarte Asi" From His Album Siempre Es Hoy. Recently He Did A Remix For Radiohead's Single "Nude" From Their Latest Album "In Rainbows" And He's Working On A Remix Of A Song By The Amazing Rachael Sage From Her Latest Album Chadelier Out In June!
