Tragic Black Is A Five Piece Death Rock/Darkwave Band From Salt Lake City Utah. The Band Was Formed In The Summer Of 2000 By Core Members Vision And Vyle. Tragic Black Was A Concept Thought Of By Vision In The Summer Of 2000. Vyle Keyboards Ashe Guitar And Vision Vocal Formed A Trinity And Performed Live For The First Time On Halloween Of 2000. Shortly Afterwards Toni Bass Was Admitted Into The Group On Bass. Six Months Later A New Musician Hex Rhythm Guitar Was Added And Ashe Left On Amicable Terms. After Three Shows Hex Left The Band To Pursue Other Goals And The Line-Up Remained As Vision Vyle And Toni Until The Spring Of 2002. Later That Year Stich Joined Tragic Black As The New Six-Stringed Bassist. Due To Problems With Toni In The Summer Of 2003 He Was Removed. In Early 2004 Tragic Black Teamed Up With A Producer Named James Seputus To Write And Record The Sixx Premonitions. The Band Went Through A Drastic Musical Progression During This Time As A Trio. This Release Is Often Held By Fans As The Holy Grail Of The Bands Musical Work. James Would Later Go On To Join Tragic Black On Drums In 2005. Stich Vowed To Leave Tragic Black In February 2004 To Pursue A Marriage And His Own Goals In Europe. Still He Stayed For Five More Months To Play His Last Several Shows But Soon Afterwards Moved To London To Live With His Now Ex Wife Barb DJane Darlin' Grave . Stich And Barb Subsequently Formed Their Own Band All Gone Dead. Ashe Was Re-Admitted Into The Band In The Spring Of 2004 And Played His First Show With The Band At The 2004 Rozz Williams Memorial In Salt Lake City. In The Fall Of 2004 Hex Returned To Salt Lake And Re-Joined The Band On Bass. In The Summer Of 2005 Seputus Joined Tragic Black On Drums. The Band Began Experimenting With Elements Of Both Electronic And Live Drums. After Their Self-Released Live Record Burnt Black The Band Was Approached By Strobelight Records To Sign A Deal. They Released Their Third Studio Album The Decadent Requiem On February 17 2006. In Summer Of 2006 Tragic Black Made An Official Announcement On Their Myspace Announcing That Their Guitarist Ashe Had Been Removed From The Band Under Good Terms And A New Line-Up Was In Place. In Mid-2007 Hex Left The Band For Unknown Reasons And Was Replaced By Jesse James Who Also Plays Guitar In The Gothic Rock Band Redemption Bound Of Which Ashe Also Plays Guitar And Seputus Plays Drums . Tragic Black Released A Record Titled "The Cold Caress" On August 17 2007 On Strobelight Records And Shadowplay Records Russia . New Titled Tracks From The Album "The Cold Caress" And "Bodies On The Avenue" Are Available For Listen On Their Myspace Page Currently. In September 2007 Stich Returned To Salt Lake City And Was Re-Admitted Into Tragic Black. He Is Now The Second Guitarist. The Line Up Remained This Way Until Jesse James Decided To Leave The Band In October 2008. Before Leaving The Band Jesse James Finished Recording His Guitar Parts For Tragic Black's 7" Vinyl Record Featuring Two Songs "The Dead Fall" & "Caught In The Noose" Which Is Scheduled For Release Early 2009 By Catastrophe Ballet Records. Since Then Former Member Hex Has Re-Jointed The Band And Are Now Preparing For Play In Mexico City & Record New Material For Their Next Album. To Cut A Long Story Short Someone Left Someone Joined Someone Left Someone Joined. It's A Rollercoaster Ride Of A Story.
