But When EMI Folded So Did The Release Of The Album. Gilliam Then Joined Ex-Tony Toni Tone Front-Man Raphael Saadiq As A Member Of The Hip Hop/R&B Group Lucy Pearl. In 2000 Gilliam's Third Album Star Kitty's Revenge Was Again A Victim Of Shake-Ups In The Record Business. She Then Signed With Raphael Saadiq's Boutique Label Pookie Records And Recorded Tennessee Slim Is The Bomb. After Issues With The Album's Release On Pookie Records Joi Then Released The Album On Her Own Independent Label Dirty Debutante/Joilicious On March 28 2006.
