While With Capitol He Also Crossed Over Onto The Pop Charts And Recorded Seven Duets With Margaret Whiting Including 'Slippin' Around' Which Was A No. 1 Country Hit In 1949. One Of His Last Albums Was On His Own Shasta Label "Jimmy Wakely Country '75".
