Cem Adiyaman B. 1981 In Ankara Turkey Is A Multi-Instrumentalist Turkish Composer For Film Soundtracks And Contemporary Music. Never Having A Formal Music Education While Studying Civil Engineering In Ankara And Design In New York He Always Tried To Produce His Own Material And Further Investigate Different Genres Of Music. Developing A Big Interest In Jazz And Upright Bass At A Young Age He Took Private Lessons For A Year Without Having An Instrument And After Getting One He Played Standards And Avande-Guard Jazz In Clubs And Hotels Around Ankara. He Wrote Jingles For Popular Tv Shows Produced Tracks For Singers And Expanded Into More Electronic Music Genres. After Moving To New York In 2003 He Started Working With Aspiring Film Makers And Started Providing Original Film Music For Their Short And Feature Length Movies. Being Interested In Turkish Classical Music He Immersed Himself In Traditional Turkish And Gypsy Musics As Well As Contemporary New York Music Scene. He Still Lives In New York Where He Works On Film Scores And His Original Compositions. read less
