Martin Khanja Aka Lord Spike Heart And Sam Karugu Emerge From Nairobi's Flourishing Underground Metal Scene As Former Members Of The Bands Lust Of A Dying Breed And Seeds Of Datura. Together In 2019 They Formed Duma Darkness In Kikuyu With Sam Abandoning Bass For Production And Guitars And Lord Spike Heart Providing Extreme Vocals To The Project. Recorded At Nyege Nyege Studios In Kampala Over Three Months In Mid 2019 Their Self-Titled Debut Album Fuses The Frenetic Euphoria Unrelenting Physicality And Rebellious Attitude Of Hardcore Punk And Trash Metal With Bone-Crunching Breakcore And Raw Nihilist Industrial Noise Through A Claustrophobic Vortex Of Visceral Screams. Grindcore Band From England. Hailing From The Darkest Depths Of Tyne & Wear Eddie Carter Chris Jermyn And Mark Watson And Chris’s Trusty Drum Machine Started Duma In Early 2003. They Were Got Into The Their Song Writing And Started To Perform Live. By May They’d Linked Up Neil Hewson As A Second Guitarist. In January 2004 Neil Parted Ways With The Group. With The Drum Machine Braking Down March 2004 Saw A New Member Of The Band Drummer Kevin Noon. With A Proper Drummer Came A New Style. It Became Obvious That No Human Drummer Could Hit 15 Different Percussion Instruments At The Same Time And So The New Duma Style Was Created. Unfortuantely In September Of 2005 Kev Decided That The Music Was Not In The Direction He Wish To Go With And Went On To Join World Of Static Then In January 2006 The Drummer Situation Was Sorted When Paul McKeirnan Joined Duma. Along With Paul Came Their Second Guitarist Alistair Barrie. To Try To Explain Duma's Sound It Is Sort Of Part Metal Part Hardcore Part Punk Part Indie Part Stoner. Duma Then Split Up In Late 2006. No One Was To Blame But It Is Generally Thought That The Classic Musical Differences Came To End This Band. In 2011 Three Of The Original Members Eddie Carter Chris Jermyn And Mark Watson Has Started To Talk About Getting Back Togeher And Going To The Old School Day. They Have Also Enlisted The Help Of A Mr Chris Chaney Ex-Drummer Of The Newcastle Upon Tyne Version Of Articulo Mortis. In August Of 2011 They Changed Their Name To Terrorfirmer. 3.
