The Horrors Surgieron En Un Momento En Que La Escena Musical Inglesa Estaba Dominada Por El Sonido Angular Y Áspero De Bandas Como Arctic Monkey Y The Futureheads. En Sus Inicios Eran Otra Banda Más De Garage Punk De Peinados Estrambóticos Y Negras Vestiduras Pero Pronto Se Transformaron En Algo Más Experimental. El Álbum Debut Del Grupo Strange House Fue Publicado En 2007. Para Primary Colors Del 2009 La Banda Decidió Producir El Disco Junto Al Director Chris Cunningham Y A Geoff Barrow Portishead Optando Por Un Sonido Muy Diferente Que Mezclaba Los Estilos Shoegaze Post-Punk Y Goth. El Álbum Fue Editado Por XL Esa Primavera Y No Solo Obtuvo Excelentes Críticas Sino Que Además Fue Elegido Disco Del Año Por La Prestigiosa Publicación NME.
