SPARC Formed In 2005. Unsigned And Unmanaged They Took Business Matters Into Their Own Hands And Independently Organized And Booked Many Tours Across Canada Entered And Won Numerous Radio Competitions Played The Big Stages At Festivals And Venues Opening For Many Well Known Bands Recorded With World Class Producers Had Their Songs Broadcast On Satellite Radio’s X FM Across The Continent Had Songs Added To TV Shows And DVD Releases Developed A Huge Following On MySpace Sold Out Two Independent CD Releases And Because Of The Hype Around The Band Eventually In 2010 Attracted A U.S. Label Signing… At The Same Time However They Experienced The Death Of A Band Member Of Family Members Loss Of Band Members Illnesses And Adversity And A Parting Of Ways With Their U.S. Label In Late 2010… By The End Of 2010 They Were Unsigned And Independent Once Again. Finally They Decided To Change Their Band Name To Reflect Their Emotional And Musical Progression. The Band Was Starting Over. They Abandoned Their Old Identity Their Old Band Name And Most Of The Music That Accompanied It. They Haven’t Looked Back. Their Name Choice Was SPARC. The Band’s History Of Attracting Fans And Listeners Played Itself Out Again. After Less Than 6 Months The Band Is Continuously At The Top Of The Canadian MySpace Music Charts And Has Been Holding Within The Top 1 To 4 Position On The Charts In The Areas Of Alternative Rock And Pop In The Major Section. Itunes Sales Are Strong Reflecting The Bands Commercial Appeal. The SPARC Band Mates Have Successfully Forged Forward In A Very Difficult Industry. Putting Aside Any Other Career Choices They Have Dedicated Everything In Their Life To Producing And Performing Music That Fans Could Relate To. They Have Developed A Large Close Knit Group Of Fans To Whom They Are Forever Appreciative For Their Constant Support And Involvement With The Band Over The Years. With Many More Productions Due For Release In The Coming Months You Can Expect To Hear A Lot More From Sparc In The Near Future So Keep Your Ears Peeled!
