The Hot Gates Are Narrow Passage Located On The Coast Of Greece Also Called Thermopylae. As It Contains Sulphurous Hot Springs It Is Traditionally Considered As The Entrance To Hades. They Were Also The Location Of An Infamous Battle Between Spartan And Persian Forces As Popularised By Frank Miller’s 300 Also The 2006 Film Directed By Zack Snyder . Using This As A Symbol The Title Is A Reference To Battles Against A Backdrop Of Death And A Sense Of Eternal Consequence.
