MINUS IQ Are A Four Piece Rock Band Based In North London And Recently Signed To Greengarden Records. Their Debut Album HOME CINEMA Is Due For Release In Autumn 2008. HOME CINEMA Is An Eclectic Mix Of 13 Timeless Songs Which Will Seduce You And Take You Through A Whole Spectrum Of Emotions.
Lyrically The Band Explores A Broad Range Of Issues Ranging From The Deeply Personal And Introspective To A Commentary On Social Experiences That Can Be Easily Identified With Including Both Personal And Physical Relationships. Inspired And Influenced By A Wide Variety Of Artists Such As Muse Radiohead At The Drive In Incubus The Killers And Faithless Plus Many Elements Of New Wave And Electro Minus IQ Have Managed To Cultivate Their Own Distinctive Sound. On First Listen It Is MINUS IQ's Pop Meets Electro Rock Sound That Hits You With Songs That Would Sound At Home On Any One Of Today's Radio Play-Lists With So Much More To Offer Than Your Average Pop Rock Band.
