Biografía del artista Bullet Train To Vegas

Having Closed The Book On His Former Bands Adamantium And Give Until Gone When Singer/guitarist Dan Sena Set Out To Form The Band That Would Become Bullet Train To Vegas In September 2001 The Only Goal In Mind Was To Create Music That Contradicted The Current Dull And Predictable State Of Punk And Indie Rock. With The Initial Bullet Train To Vegas Lineup Recording Soon After Forming The Band Announced Its Presence Quickly With The Limited Release Of The Profile This EP. As Is Strangely Typical With Most Bands In Their Infancy Stage Lineup Changes Were Imminent And Frequent. At Times The Concept Of The Band Consisting Of 4 Like-Minded Individuals Who Shared The Same Musical Vision And DIY Work Ethic Seemed Far-Fetched. It Was Not Until Dan Finally Found Himself In The Company Of Bassist Greg Horton Guitarist Erik Bailey And Drummer Martin Cornish That Bullet Train To Vegas Truly Took Form. With The Bullet Train To Vegas Lineup Solidified The Band’s Sound Came To Life As Well. Melding A Sharp And Frenetic Guitar Style Echoing Post-Punk Pioneers Such As Gang Of Four And Wire With A Howling And Spontaneous Vocal Attack Reminiscent Of Underground Heroes Such As Pitchfork And Clikitat Ikatowi The Band Had Clearly Achieved Their Shared Goal Of Creating Something To Which They Could Fully Dedicate Themselves. So Began A Steady Stream Of DIY Tours Across The U.S The Band Sharing The Stage With The Likes Of Bloc Party Sparta Pretty Girls Make Graves Panthers JR Ewing The Blood Brothers The Bronx Minus The Bear Planes Mistaken For Stars And Q And Not U. In Spring 2004 As Bullet Train To Vegas Went Into Writing Lockdown Producer Alex Newport At The Drive In The Mars Volta Ikara Colt Stumbled Onto Some Demos Which To Him Spoke Loud And Clear The Fact That He Had Found The Next Band To Whom He Wanted To Dedicate His Time. Newport Soon Had The Label-Less Band In His Own Hot Head Studios In Downtown Los Angeles Spending Three Weeks Tracking The Eleven Songs That Would Soon Comprise Their Debut Album We Put Scissors Where Our Mouths Are.
