Матросская Тишина Or Matrosskaya Tishina Sailor's Silence In English Was A Russian Post-Punk Band That Originated In The Soviet Union In 1988. It Was A Joint Project Between German Dizhecko A Musician From Rostov And The Art-Rock Group "Anomaly" Which Started In June Of 1988. The First Line Up Included German On Vocals Vladimir Gelayko On Bass Victor Lukyanov On The Guitar Valery Pershin On Drums And Boris Shklyanko On The Keyboard. They Became Famous In 1989 When They Took Part In The Festivals For The Moscow Rock Scene Performing Alongside Sonic Youth Near Instantly Becoming A Hit In The USSR And One Of The Best Post-Punk Bands. With Vladimir Gelayko Leaving The Group In 1989 Vasily Fadeev Took Up The Role Of Bassist. In 1990 A Year Before The Fall Of The Soviet Union Boris Shklyanko The Keyboardist Left For Denmark Adn Valery Pershin Took Up Mechanics While Fadeev Left To Go Play For Another Band. In 1990 Vadim Lozinsky Became The Drummer And Valery Primerov Became The New Bassist. The Group Toured All Over Ukraine Belarus And Ukraine Well After The Fall Of The Soviet Union. The Final Change In Band Line Up Happened In 1995 Where Sasha Rogachev Took Over As Bass From Band Avalon And Stas Korneev As Drummer From Girl And Tank . The Band Broke Up In 2008 After The Death Of Frontman And Lead Vocalist German Dizhecko.
