Zabé Da Loca Is A Brazilian Fife Player From Monteiro State Of Paraíba. Isabel Marques Da Silva Or Simply Zabé Was Born In 1924 In Buíque A Small Town In The Sertão Of Pernambuco Another State In The Northeast Of Brazil When Zabé Was Still Young She Moved To Monteiro Where She Lived In A Small Cave Denominated Regionally As "loca" For Twenty Five Years With Her Two Sons. Zabé Plays The Fife Since She Was 10 But Only Sixty Nine Years Later Her Talent Was Recognized By A Social Project Called Project Dom Helder Câmara That Went To Monteiro To Provide Support To The Agrarian Population Of The Region. Zabé Was Invited To Perform In Several Cities Of Brazil And Became Known Nationwide. In 2003 She Released Her First Album Titled "Canto Do Semi-Árido" That Deserved Good Reviews And In 2007 She Released A Second Album Titled "Bom Todo". In 2009 Zabé Was Acclaimed Brazilian Popular Music Revelation Of The Year.
