The Afterbirth Are A Metal Band From Camberley Surrey In The UK Formed By Steve Smith Another Life / Echo Project / Steve Smith / Memories In Torment Who Takes On The Persona Of Frontman And Main Songwriter Gunter. The Band Also Employs The Talents Of Tom Taylor Another Life / Echo Project And Wez Walke Echo Project On Vocals Occasionally. The Afterbirth Was Formed By Steve And Tom In A Hotel Room During The First Half Of 2009 In Wrexham Wales Where The First Song Written Was 'SkullCandy' Known As 'Graeme's Mind How It Works . Later That Year On Halloween They Had Written The First Single 'Halloween'. The Afterbirth Was Forgotten For A A While Until Steve Decided To Write A Full Length Album Under The Banner Combining Heavy Riffs With The Lyrical Deft Of Touch Most Commonly Associated With The Bard Himself. The Album Had Been In Production Since July 2010 With Steve Starting Then Stopping The Project Repeatedly Throughout The Rest Of The Year It Wasn't Until 2012 That Hard Work Began On The Album With A Release Date Aiming Toward The End Of The Year. The Single 'Halloween' Was Officially Released On 31/10/2012 And A Music Video Supporting The Single Was Also Released. read less
