Carlos But Was Under Contract With Wisconsin Dells At The Time. When The Contract Expired Zander Joined The Band As Lead Singer. In 1983 Zander Wrote His First Solo Writing Contribution With "I Can't Take It" I Can't Take It And Also Performed A Solo Concert. Zander Released A Self-Titled Album In 1993 That Did Not Chart Well. In Recent Years He Has Become Cheap Trick's Main Lyricist. One Current Trademark Of Cheap Trick Concerts Is During "The Flame" The Flame . Zander Holds An Extremely Long Note "I Will Be The Flame-" Which Always Gets A Loud Reaction From The Audience.
