Künstlerbiographie Nandor Gotz

Nándor Götz Graduated From The Franz Liszt Academy Of Music Budapest In 1991. During His Studies He Played At The International Orchestra Conducted By Yehudi Menuhin In Paris. Between 1994 And 2000 He Was The Soloist Of The Cologne Contemporary Music Group Called “Musikfabrik”. At Present He Is Working With Several Ensembles Such As The Hungarian Intermodulation Frankfurt Ensemble Modern Musikfabrik Viennese Klangforum Wien. On Several Occasions He Has Given Concerts With Numerous World Famous Composers And Conducters E.G. Mauricio Kagel Hans Zender Péter Eötvös Diego Masson Earl Brown Luciano Beriot. As A Soloist And Chamber Music Player He Has Concerted In Almost All European Countries As Well As In Jordan USA Japan. The Latter Is Also A Place For Concerts Conducted And Master’s Courses Held By Götz. In 1998 And 1999 Together With The Klangforum Wien He Was A Guest Artist Of The Salzburg Festival. As A Senior Master He Leads The Saxophone-Clarinet Class At The Leo Weiner Conservatory Of Music Budapest Since 2001.
He Has Also Made Studio And Concert Recordings With Several Radio Companies E.G. Hungarian Radio WDR Cologne Maison De Radio FranceParis ZDF Zurich Radio FIN. His CD Records Published Are Chamber Music By Harrison Birtwistle CPO 1995 Rebecca Saunders Quartet WDR-Kairos 2001 Satie–Xonophone Music By Ravel Satie Debussy Settings By Nándor Götz Hungaroton HCD 31763 László Sáry Dance Music BMC 2003 Ph. E. Bach Concertos Capriccio As A Chamber Musician He Is Member Of The Hungarian Choral Quintet Concerts In New York Tokyo Washington Abu Dhabi Harmony Quartet And Founder Of The Götz Saxophone Quartet. Götz Has Been Dealing With Musical Setting Adaptation And Composing Since 1992. Paying Special Attention To The Connection Between Theatre And Music He Is Looking For New Individual Voice And Artistic Approach. He Is Elaborating A Complex Genre Of Performing Through Compounding The Elements Of Music Theater And Modern Ballet.
His Works For Stage Are The Following A Glass Of Water Accompanying Music For Chamber Orchestra To The Comedy By E. Scribe . First Performed By Madách Theatre Budapest Hungary 2003.
The Sword Of Antony. Musicalopera For Eight Singers Ballet Ensemble And Orchestra. First Performed By The Studio Stage Of Madách Theatre Budapest Hungary 2004. The Sword Of Antony Was Also A Guest Performance On The 2005 Theater Festival Of San Francisco.
