Künstlerbiographie Miguel Pérez

Miguel Pérez Málaga 1976 Had His First Encounter With Music In The Youth Music Band Of The Miraflores And Gibraljaire Schools In His Hometown. He Continued His Musical Studies At The Higher Conservatory Of Music Obtaining A Degree As A Professor Of Solfege Music Theory Transposition And Accompaniment As Well As A Degree As A Superior Professor Of Tuba. Since 1990 He Has Been Composing In Various Formats Publishing And Premiering His Music Worldwide Including Works For Radio Television Cinema And All Kinds Of Shows. In 1994 He Wrote The Lyrics And Music For A Malagueña Which Was Performed By Pasión Vega And Won The First Prize At The X Certamen De Malagueñas De Fiesta An Annual Contest Organized By The City Council Of Málaga. The Following Year He Founded The Miguel Pérez Orchestra 1995-2008 For Which He Wrote Songs Inspired By The Swing Music Of The 1940s. Two Years Later He Established The Miguel Pérez Consort 1997-2010 With Which He Recorded "Deus Meus" 1999 Funded By Turismo Andaluz. He Was A Pianist For The Che Camerata Quartet 1997-2006 Performing Concerts Throughout Europe. In 1998 He Won The First Prize At The II Concurso Nacional De Composición De Marchas Procesionales Maestro Perfecto Artola And Injuve Selected Him For A National Tour Performing His Piano Compositions. He Served As The Conductor Of The Banda Municipal De Música De Sedella 2005-2007 And Collaborated On The Program "Bajo Palio" On Canal Sur Radio 1997-1998 . In 2006 The Municipal Music Band Of Málaga Recorded A Monographic CD Featuring His Compositions Dedicated To The Holy Week Of Málaga Funded By Diario Sur. He Also Arranged The Music For Nacho Artacho's Album "Los Días Y Los Hombres " And In 2016 He Collaborated On The Piano In José Antonio Delgado's Album "La Vida Por Entero." In 2010 He Produced His First Solo Work As A Composer And Pianist Titled "Biotza." He Repeated This Experience In 2013 With "Oporto " In 2015 With "Amanay " And In 2017 With "Siroco." In 2016 He Wrote The Music For "La Señorita Julia " A New Theatrical Version Written By Marcella Brignole Based On Strindberg's Classic Play. As A Writer He Has Published "Cincuenta Poemas Mal Peinados" Belgeuse 2005 And "El Cuarto Baño" Seleer 2016 And He Has Been A Music Critic For The Newspaper La Opinión De Málaga 2006 . Currently He Combines Teaching With His Work As A Composer.
