Kontekst Is A 23 Year Old Beatmaker / Music Producer From Plauen Germany Who Has Been Making Music For Over 10 Years From Boom Bap To Dirty South Crunk Downtempo Dubstep And Other Styles Kontekst Has Been Experimenting With Different Genres By Trying To Mix Them In A Way That Works. He Is Known For Clean Hard Hitting Drums With Memorable Rhythms And Fine Tuned Synthesizer Sound Made With Quality Software. Kontekst Always Made Music With Computers Since His Parents Didn't Encourage Him To Learn To Play Any Instruments. In 2005 He Discovered A CD Of Magix Music Maker 2004 That He Later Spent A Lot Of Time With. While Trying Around With Various Loops Developing An Ear For Sounds That Work Together. Influenced By The Style Of The Available Pre-Factored Loops Kontekst's Earliest Music Was Pushed Into The Direction Of Electronic Dance Music Like House Or Trance. With Later Updates Of The Software He Started Experimenting With Virtual Synthesizers And Composing His Own Melodies Which Made Him Very Self-Aware And Frustrated As He Had No Music Pre-Experience Struggling To Create The Sounds He Had In His Mind. Lazy In Person Kontekst Was Always A Strong Perfectionist When It Comes To Computers. Very Curious He Gained Experience In Mixing Effects And Modulation Of Sounds. With The Release Of Soulja Boy's "Crank That" In 2007 Kontekst Googled The Rapper As He Just Got An Internet Home Connection Finding Out About FL Studio And Downloading The Free Demo Of FL Studio 7. He Starts Releasing First Full Tracks Very Frequently On YouTube As "Firebird Beats" Creating Artwork Or Gaming Videos For Visual Content By Himself With Software Like Adobe Photoshop GIMP Cinema 4D Or Sony Vegas. Ever Since He Started Releasing Music He Always Made It Easily Available To Download His Music For Free As He Didn't Think His Music Was Good Enough To Charge For It. His Earliest Music On YouTube Lost Without Backups As He Deleted His Channel A Mix Of Electronic Dance Music And Hip-Hop Instrumentals That Were Intented For Rappers To Record On. Influenced By Other Beatmakers On YouTube He Started Making Rap Beats In Crunk And Dirty South Style. He Learned More And More About FL Studio And Gradually Improved The Quality Of His Music And His Melodies. After Getting A USB Keyboard As A Birthday Present From His Brother He Slowly Learned To Play The Keyboard By Live Recording Drum Rhythms And Melodies And Editing Them In FL Studio. In Ca. 2011 "Firebird" Deleted Most Of His Social Media Accounts And Didn't Release Music For Multiple Months. He Never Made Any Backups Of His Music On His Hard Drives So He Lost Most Of His Music Released Under The Artist Name. In The Beginning Of 2012 He Started Releasing First Previews Of Music Under The Name "Kontekst" On Soundcloud. He Chose The Name After Finding About The Name Of The Menu That Opens When A User Right-Clicks An Object In Windows And Changing The Spelling To Make The Name More Unique Since His Previous Artist Name Firebird Was Widely Used Internationally For Various Products And Brands. In 2013 He Started Releasing Free Beat Mixtapes On Datpiff For Example "Backyard" And "Kontekst Instrumentals" Volume 1-4 Which Were Intented To Be A Mix Of Instrumental Music That Can Be Enjoyed On Its Own And Rap Instrumentals Free To Use For Other Artists. The Style Of His Music Released In That Time Was Spread Very Widely Ranging From Classic Hip-Hop Beats To Minimalistic House Songs Slow Electronic Beats That Could Be Compared To Dubstep Or Drum And Bass. In Between The Releases Of These Digital Mixtapes He Released The Track "Buddha" On Soundcloud Which Has Gained Popularity That He Hasn't Experienced Before.
