Incorrect Tag For Ainulindalë. " Ainulindale Was Born In 2002 But The Idea Of Making Such An Album As "The Lay Of Leithian" Had Been In My Mind For Quite A Long Time.
In 1998 I Discovered Tolkien Through The Lord Of The Rings And The Silmarillion.
It Seemed Obvious To Me That The Work Of Tolkien Would Be A Perfect Starting Point To Write Acoustic Music.
So For Some Years I Recorded Ideas Here And There But It Was Only During The Autumn Of 2002 After Having Gone Through The Silmarillion Once More That I Decided To Focus On The Adaptation Of "The Lay Of Leithian" In Music.
Basing The Music On Some Old Ideas And Composing New Ones It Took Me 4 Months To Record All The Music.
After Another 2 Months Of Mixing The Album Was Finally Finished In Spetember 2003.
Cynfeirdd Was The First Label Interested By Ainulindale And In February 2004 The First Version Of "The Lay Of Leithian" Came Out In A 141 Copies Edition.
It Was Sold Out In A Couple Of Months.
During The Summer Of 2004 Thor Of Trollmusic Contacted Me To Talk About A Possible Rerelease Of The Album And After Months Of Preparation It Finally Came Out In December 2004. "
