Born In Frankfort In South Africa's Free State Province Zamajobe Sithole Grew Up In The Town Of Vosloorus And Sang In The Local Choir From The Age Of Nine. Her Early Musical Mentor Was Acclaimed Gospel Artist Pastor Benjamin Dube. Zamajobe Nagged Her Father For A Guitar And Inspired By This Acquisition Started To Compose And Write Her Own Material. Artists Which Have Inspired Her Include Eric Clapton Sabelo Gxoyiya And Female Vocalists Such As South Africa's Letta Mbulu Abigail Khubeka Plus Khadja Nin. In 2003 Zamajobe Competed In The "Pop Idols" Competition An Experience Which Afforded Her A Platform To Learn About South African Audiences.
