The Vandon Arms Began In Late 2005 When Aaron Buzbee A.K.A. 'Buz' And Clint Meek Decided To Form A Band Based Off Of The Simple Idea Of Playing Music They Loved With Their Good Friends. The Boys Turned To Their Friends Jeff Krantz And Elliot Tommingo To Fill Out The Group. Their Unique Sound Was A Pleasant Surprise To Many In Their Hometown Of Des Moines Iowa Pulling Their Sound From Punk Music As Well As Traditional Irish Music. Shortly After Their Start The Leading Singer Jeff Left The Vandon Arms To Persue Other Musical Interests In The Form Of Tulsa OK Rock Band The Effects. This Left The Group Moving Buz The Original Drummer To Lead Vocals/mandolin While Bringing In Their Friend "Biff" On Drums. It's A New Chapter For The Vandon Arms. During The Recent Months Of Dec06'-Jan07' Many New Songs Have Been Written Many Shows Have Been Booked And The EP Is Finished. TVA Also Picked Up A New Drummer Named Brandon Who Has Proven To Be A Great Musician And Good Drinking Partner. Biff's An Amazing Friend And We'll Always Support Him. So.... Come Out To A Show Pick Up The New EP And Join Us For A Beer! The Vandon Arms Are Fortunate To Have Shared The Stage With The Tossers The Envy Corps The Unseen Flatfoot 56 Agent Orange And The Toasters Just To Name A Few. They Have Also Been Featured On The Following Compilation CDs "Paddy Rock Radio Vol. 2" "Under The Microscope Vol. 1" And "Under The Microscope Vol. 2".
