Luz Ou Cruz Live by Quinto Imperio

Künstlerbiographie Quinto Imperio

Born Around 1995 From The Minds Of Ricardo S. And Joao Gata In Lisbon Portugal Tracing Back It's Origins To A Previous Electronic Oriented Band Called Amenti Founded By Ricardo S. Fernando Cruz Joao Gata And Teresa Salgueiro. That Initial Sound Was Very Much The Likes Of Clan Of Ximox And Co. And The Obvious Dislikes Of All The Record Company's In Portugal. We Were Actually Told That We Needed Electric Guitars So As Expected Things Cooled Down For A Few Years. Things Resumed When Ricardo S. And Joao Gata Reunited On The Quinto Imperio V Imperio Insane Vision. Born On A Spare Room Only With A Couple Of Synth's A Home Made Computer And Lots-Of-Not-Knowing-That-Could-Not-Be-Done. Much Work Hours Arguments And Rants Was Involved Even The Building Of Dedicated Hardware.
Ana Quintans Was The Original Voice Helping To Push It Forward. Many Of Her Original Melody's Can Still Be Heard On The Final Vocal Performance That Went To Record. She Left After A Year Of Hard Work To Pursue Other Life Ambitions. A Tremendous Endeavor Was Put In Place To Find A New Singer. Isis Was The Chosen One Shaping The V Imperio Final Sound. More Work Had To Be Done So That It Could Be Played Live And Nuno Rodrigues Ex Rodrigo Leao's Vox Ensemble And Sons Do Vento Had A Major Part In Making It Possible Sharing His Enthusiasm To The Other Quartet Members.
I Am Obviously Biased To Make Further Comments But 10 Years On And It Still Looks To Me Has An Unparalleled Effort In The Portuguese Music Scene Made By A Very Very Small Group Of Crazy People Detached Of Any Support And Commercial Gain Whose Only Goal Was To Create A Great Listening Experience.
