Poligamia Was A Pop Band Founded In Bogotá Colombia In 1991 By Andrés Cepeda Juan Gabriel Turbay Gustavo Gordillo Freddy Camelo And César López. The First Three Of Them Attended Colegio San Carlos And Were Expelled In Mid-School. They Finished High School At Colegio Emilio Valenzuela Where They Met Camelo And López And Started Playing Together. Their First Album Una Canción Was Produced And Released In 1993 By Sony Music Who Signed The Group As An Award After It Controversially Won A Local Battle Of The Bands For Local Radio Station Radioactiva Against Rock Band EL Zut. The Winning Song Was "Bailando Sobre Tu Piel". The Album's Main Hits Were "Desvanecer" Composed By Turbay "Una Canción" "Mi Generación" And "Beverly Hills". The Song "Beverly Hills" Was Composed At The Time The TV-Series Beverly Hills 90210 Was Popular In Local Television. Their Second Album Was Released In 1995 Under The Title Vueltas Y Vueltas. The Main Hits Were "Confusión" Written By Turbay And "Fue Solo Amor". The Final Studio Album Was Released In 1996 And It Did Not Receive Great Reception From The Audience Nor It Had Any Major Hit. Poligamia Decided To Break Up In 1998 Because Of The Interest Of Each Member To Follow Different Careers In Music And Production. The Farewell Concert Was Programmed As The First In A Festival With Different Bands From Bogota And Was Recorded As A Live Album Named "Buenas Gracias - Muchas Noches" That Included A Live Performance Of The Band's Main Hits And A New Song Named "Hasta Que Venga La Mañana". Also The Album Included A Bonus Track Named "Ciertas Cosas". This Song Was Lately Re-Recorded By Andres Cepeda In His First Solo Album "Se Morir" Sony Music Released A Poligamia Greatest Hits Album In 2001.
