Last Chance City Was Formed Originally By Max Dowers Guitar/Backing Vocals And Jacob Smith Bass/Backing Vocals . Connah Newton Drums Who Has Worked In Other Projects With Jacob Before Joined The Band Shortly After And With This Lineup The Three Started Writing The First Few Songs. When Max Cowley Vocals/Keyboards Joined The Band As Vocalist In Early 2013. The Begun To Record There Debut EP In May 2013 And Released The Track 'Gravity' As A Free Download. After The Recording Of The Bands Debut Song They Added Toby Ouston Guitar/Keyboards/Backing Vocals To The Band As The 2nd Guitarist Which Completed The Band. With The Line Complete The Finished Their Debut EP 'Last Chance City EP' Which Features The Tracks 'Blackness' 'Gravity' And 'War Child'. Max Dowers Departed From The Band And Was Essentially Replaced By Stafford Kurowski Who Had Previously Joined The Band As A Third Guitarist A Few Months Before. In 2014 The Band Hired Jerome Attrill As The Band Manager And His Contributions Have Lifted The Band's Progress. The Release Of The Single 'Realise' Marked A New Direction For The Band.
Each Band Member Have Been Involved In Multiple Side Projects Jacob Smith Being Involved With The Bands 'The Intervals' 'Wildfire' And 'Broken Bots' Connah Newton Being Working With A 'Two Door Cinema Club' Tribute Band Whilst Max Cowley And Toby Ouston Worked In A Short Term Project Called 'Mazes' That Featured Max On Keyboards Toby On Drums And Several Other Musicians. On August 19th 2014 Original/founding Band Member Jacob Smith Quit The Band Due To Musical And Personal Differences As Well As Seeking New Musical Direction. The Current Line-Up Consists Of Max Cowley - Vocals/Keyboards
