Korova Is Found In 1990 By Mastermind Christof Niederwieser And Two Punks. In The Beginning They Play A Peculiar Kind Of Thrash Punk. At Their First Concert In November 1991 They Nearly Get Beaten Off The Stage Because They Cannot Play Their Instruments At All. In December 1993 Moritz Neuner Later Known For His Work With Bands Like Leave's Eyes Atrocity Abigor Dornenreich Graveworm Or Darkwell Joins Korova. Thenceforward Their Style Develops Radically. In Spring 1995 Their First Album "A Kiss In The Charnel Fields" Comes Out On Napalm Records. It Features A Nervous Mixture Of Extreme Black/Death Metal Prog Psychedelic Darkwave Classical Music And Minnesong. The Arrangements Are Opulent The Harmonies Often Very Dissonant. This Album Is Infamous For Its Huge Variety Of Vocal Styles Ranging From Dramatic Opera Singing To Many Different Kinds Of Screaming Growling Wailing And Whispering.
In Summer 1997 Korova Record A Promo-CD For Their Second Album "Echowelt" Engl. "Echoworld" Featuring "Supersonic Sci-Fi Metal". They Start To Use Electronic Synths And Extreme Guitar FX Excessively. The Vocals Get Even More Hysteric And Dissonant. No Record Company Dares To Release This Album.
So Korova Write "Dead Like An Angel" Released In Spring 1998 By Napalm Records. It Features Several New Compositions And Also Some Re-Arranged Songs From "Echowelt". "Dead Like An Angel" Continues To Use Many Electronic Sounds Synthesizer And Ambient Samples. There Are Also Some Ballads And Pop-Like Songs On This Album. After A Couple Of Concerts Korova Officially Disband In Early 2000. One Year Later They Come Back Under The Name KOROVAKILL Click To Read Biography Consisting Of Christof Niederwieser Moritz Neuner And Renaud Tschirner Elend On Keyboards. They Release "WaterHells" Through The American Label Red Stream In February 2001. It's A Concept Album About A Man Who Wakes Up Drifting In The Nowhere Of The Sea Without Remembering Anything. "WaterHells" Is More Linear And Epic Than The Former Korova Albums And Features Much Better Sound Production. In 2008 KorovaKill Announce A New Album For 2009. Also A Release Of "Echowelt" Is Still Planned.
