Künstlerbiographie Kongh

David Johansson And Tomas Salonen From Sweden Met Up In Spring Of 2004 With The Idea Of Jamming And Playing Together For The Sake Of Having Fun. After A Couple Of Jam Sessions They Managed To Write Two Songs And That Was When They Started To Take Things More Seriously. A Bass Player Was Added To The Band And The Now Trio Line-Up Went On To Record Their Demo. While Recording The 4 Song Demo The Bass Player Left The Band And Was Replaced By Oskar Rydén. The Demo Was Released In Spring Of 2006 Under The Name Of Kongh And Was Offered As A Free Download. The Demos Was A Big Step For The Band Because People Started To Take Notice Of Them As Well As Some Independent Labels. They Signed To Trust No One Recordings And Released Their Debut "Counting Heartbeats" In January Of 2007. Kongh's Music Is A Combination Of Progressive Metal Sludge Metal And A Bit Of Doom Metal And Post-Rock As Well. This Combination Is Quite Similar To That Of Post-Metal Bands But Kongh Are More Aggressive Than Melodic. Highly Recommended For Fans Of The Heavier Progressive Metal Bands As Well As Post-Metal Bands.
